We hope you had a nice Easter break and that you've found all those hidden eggs...

Some update from the design team here, about the development of our brand new category for the CMS range: Mechanics Footwear!!!
As some of you may know, we are partnering with team X-Raid/BMW. We are outfitting their drivers and co-drivers with our industry leading Colin PRO. The staff is wearing our Shakedown low. Now what would a mechanic wear??

We've noticed that most of mechanics in any given team, are wearing either some rather conventional footwear such as Puma, adidas, Salomon or even Merrel. The above mentioned shoes are all fine but not really cool and dedicated to the mechanics... Moreover, we've noticed that many drivers have physical training in conventional athletic footwear. So, logically, we've been asked to tackle this missing link of category and we are coming with an answer which will please both mechanics, drivers and co-drivers as the product line we are working on will answer their needs.

Once again, we have approached the problem by first of all listening to what a mechanic really needs. Then we added our secret biomechanic recipe and lots of dose of coolness to eventually produce what we believe will revolutionize the motorsport footwear.

We are currently weartesting them, and we will initiate a field test with X-Raid mechanics. The test pairs will be given some of the roughest treatment there is, and we are looking forward to the next steps of development. There will be most likely 3 models available, with proper motion control in order to prevent premature foot fatigue, extra cushioning with dual density EVA for those long hours standing, oil and gasoline resistant rubber outsole, high resistance to abrasion and super breathable. Many more features will be unveiled in due course.

You can expect to see the Mechanics range sometime after the summer, (in Pics only, we love teasing..) and probably available on the market by early 2010. We will keep you updated on the development and who knows maybe some spy pics will be available somewhere...

Dear Friends,

The Founder and Lead designer, myself, is very proud to announce that a new member of the colinmcraesport team has recently joined us: My son Arsène was born on May 2 nd!!

Does it mean that we are going to create kids collection? Definitely yes. Does it mean that we are going to make children shoes? Yes, but in due course! I have to wait until our new tester is able to walk! Does it mean that I am not going to sleep a lot in the next few months? Yes again!

All in all we are going to create kids collection starting with cool t-shirts, and gradually expanding the range to more and more cool items.
We will keep you posted when we get closer to pre-production.

In the mean time I wish you all a great time and all the best from us!

Hello All!

One word: WOW!

You all have been fantastic so far giving us immensely useful feedback on the prints posted on yesterday.

We cannot wait for the end of the deadline to analyse and disect all your comments!

I just wanted to clarify one point: These t-shirts are all white because it would have been quite heavy to load all the colours we have planned! Most selected t-shirts will come in 2 or 3 colours, maybe even more...

We wanted to avoid biased comments because of colour preferences. And for those suggesting polos...Good News!!! we definitely are planning on designing polos as well as long sleeves polos. And we are not forgetting the ladies as well. Cool sporty yet feminine cuts will be released soon!

At the end of October more footwear designs will be available on our online store and through our distribution partners. More news soon in another blog!

You will see, we have been busy!!

Now time to return to the drawing board and create some more designs and read more of your cool comments!

Dear Registered friends,

It's has been a very intense passed 3 months since we started announcing the opening of our shop and the release of our first baby:
The Limited Signature Edition.
The LSE is the first of a future series of Limited Editions, as the famous Jordans, based on specifically designed boots for Colin.
The first LE is based on the coming ColinPro which will be our first boot to be FIA compliant.
With Colin's feedback and requests we will develop other racing footwear with specific themes. We are very busy as we are planning on releasing some times next year a new collection of t-shirts and hats and if we get enough requests, introduce a small women's line of apparel and footwear! But that's the future.
For now I will focus on new designs and who knows maybe a R4 inspired Limited Edition!!

I wish you a happy day and remember, the holiday season is just around the corner so enjoy our new shop and treat yourself!
